Founder of the Service Advisor Academy
Robert "Bob" O'Connor, President of R. L. O'Connor & Associates, Inc., brings over 40 years experience to the automotive industry in both technical and managerial capacities. Since the company's inception Bob has authored and presented business management and sales workshops throughout North America.
Bob's past experiences range from owner/operator of many successful repair facilities including independent automotive, full-size trucks (the BIG ones), and marine repair. He has also held management positions in new car and heavy duty truck dealerships, including parts manager, service manager, collision shop manager, fixed operations manager and general sales manager. To round out Bob's career successes, he also once owned/operated a popcorn factory!

In addition, Bob has offered consulting and various other automotive-related services to the independent repair industry, (including mechanical, transmission, and collision), franchised new and used car and truck dealerships, major oil companies, and many other national automotive franchises in the U.S. and Canada.
